I miss Periphery's sound when they sounded like this. It's almost a little sloppy, but still damn near perfect. That in my opinion helped give them a very unique sound. Spencer's original style of singing was more tolerable as well, and I'm not discrediting him for his efforts, he's a great singer but their new material with his newer style of singing is a bit girlish, almost as if he had a Paramore epiphany. (Pun there, Paramore, Epiphany, PERIPHERY! ;) ) That aside though, I love these guys dearly, and their music will live on forever to me.9 years ago

Periphery should definitely re-record this album to make the vocals listenable. Spencer has some sort of weird whiny douchebag resonance in his voice here that's completely gone in their later material.10 years ago
