I'd be interested in hearing Zedd remix a more recent Periphery song today since both he has improved his craft since this.

I would love to go to a club and request this song and the dj would be like "who da fuq is purriffery"

I always thought Zedd was a fucking badass dj, but the fact that he did a remix to a Periphery song really makes me respect him more. Btw if anyone wants to hear a good Zedd song, check out the songs Stache and Codec. You won't be disappointed.

I only like this cause it puts emphasis on one of my favorite Periphery lyrics.

There's nothing to debate. Like I said you can call them whatever you want. If I want to classify Dioramic as prog band and group them with bands like Yes, Tool, Cynic, Animals as Leaders, Rush, Blotted Science, Canvas Solaris, etc, then I will do so without your approval. Your opinion is irrelevant to how I choose to classify bands.

Roderick Peterson

Well, maybe... I still think is highly debatable whether Dioramic is or isn't Prog.

Haha whatever you say. I grew up listening to progressive rock bands from the 70's and still listen to mainly progressive bands. I probably know more about the genre than you think you do.

Something tells me that you have listened to very little prog rock and prog metal. If that's the case, please avoid calling any band with odd meter and some 'copy pasting' parts as progressive, please. Thanks.

Like I said, you can call them whatever the fuck you want. However, you need to get your head out of your ass if you think your personal classifications of bands need to be accepted by everyone. All music is derivative of some older generation. No one is void of influence unless they've been in social isolation for their whole lives. Also, progressive music from it's inception was known for being a genre that incorporated different styles. Mostly older music like jazz.

odd meter doesn't makes something progressive, and copypasting different styles in your songs neither. Even George Michael has used odd meter in his songs, with varying styles in his music... that means he is progressive? fuck off. it seems that today every band can be 'progressive' just by repeating old clichés... that's actually pretty unprogressive.

You can call them whatever you want. I call them progressive because they use odd meter and incorporate different styles of metal and rock.

Dioramic wasn't prog metal... was simply metalcore.

Adrian Ocaña

Yep, he's a metal musician. He used to play drums in a progressive metal band called Dioramic.
