The story is that the man had a crush on the girl, and contrary to popular belief, didn't kill her. close to the end, at 3:24 it shows him trying to save her using the defribrillator, is where it shows him trying to save her after an overdose. the reasons he lashed out at her in his visions is because she loved him and because of this he believes that he was the one who killed her. this guilt he feels causes him to lash out on her because he feels that she didn't deserve to love him. his "crush", visions of her in the past which stay on his mind all the time reminding him of his life with her, is implied in the very name. The problem with him trying to protect her and keep her away from other guys spawns from the fact that he believes that her death was his fault, and he also believes that they would try to hurt her too. because of this, he is stuck in a loop of being overly protective of her. the "memories" of her are not memories at all, but "visions i had buried underground" in which he imagined that he actually was still with the girl he loved. the girl he saw in the bar was not the girl he had a "crush" on, but an entirely different girl who reminded himself of the girl he loved, and made him jealous of the couples' happiness. when he beat the guy up, he was really just beating up a random person. after this, he went out into the street, and imagined himself on a beach and imagined that she was releasing him from his problems, and the reason i say it is on the street is because of 2:47 where he falls down in front of the car. the person who he beat up brings his group of friends, and they get revenge.The End. ~ p.s., pls tell me if i missed something else, i might have missed something.
