Once again a struggle is faked. Inauthentic, poorly produced and tasteless. I have no idea why anyone would give you a dime to pursue a profession you only want because you like how the lifestyle looks on TV. Music, real music, requires long drives on the road in a beat up SUV, not first class flights. Music, real music, requires performing day after day, songs you practice so much you start to hate your own creation. Music, real music, comes from a deep rooted and visceral feeling inside. It is a feeling that your masterpiece is never done. It is an obsession. It is self-hatred. It is self-exaltation. It is a selective recreation of your most well reasoned and important metaphysical value-judgments that you hold so close you would die for them. Music is a process in which you break yourself down into every single atom that makes up your body and soul and slowly piece each one together again through displaying and worshipping each atom as a note. This "song" has none of these features. This "song", and its not so respective "genre's", attempt to hold the carefree teenage lifestyle in high esteem, is a corrosive disease that feeds on the spirits of adolescents and twenty-somethings encouraging them to put hard work and reason aside and to live and believe strictly in experience. This poor and inconsiderate entry into the world of aesthetics will only prove to have hindered humanity's growth. I mourn for those that will be lost because of you, and for you Peg, for never looking deeper to see the inauthenticity that lies within your soul. May you one day forgive yourself.
