no fucking way jimi's version is better. think about it, without henrix, perhaps pearl jam wouldn't even exist, jimi hendrix influenced so many artist. you could say he shaped (i regret saying it but together with the beatles) modern day music

Herman Li isn't that great of a guitarist IMO. :P But you're right about playing with soul. While some guitarists today may be better than Jimi Hendrix skill wise, they will still never be better than him.
