Everyone is saying Maynard's vocals covered this in an overpowering way but nobody is mentioning Adam's guitar work. I think he made it more dark and heavy with his crazy good use of his silverburst soul destroyer. The feedback he creates has never been close to being duplicated by any music I've ever heard. He has the same six strings as everyone else but his guitar work is out of this world.

sounds a bit like a sytem of a down song imagine if serj was singing this it would totally fit one of their albumns but at the same time like tool i think the cross over is a bit of a mesh

Never heard the original song but I think is really REALLY AWESOME. It's a beautifuly made melody, I give them all the credits. My only bad critic is that Maynard's voice is HUGE (it usually is) in this particular song... I don't think is the fact that I'm more familiarized with his, but, you can't deny his excellent vocals.Justin Chancellor FTW too!!

I have to say, that I like the Tool cover more than this due to the singing. I think Manyards voice gives this track so much more life than the original singer's voice does.
