All of these are accusations made in earlier comments, and my point was that if people think it's derivative of so many disparate sources, it must not really sound like any of them,

And your point is? You can't be saying that Weller sucks and is not creative....That's just ridiculous....

To save the trouble of reading the comments, you should know that this song is a total rip-off of "Hello, I Love You", "Woolly Bully", "I Can't Explain", and "Dedication to My Ex" while also sounding a lot like Cream, Gorillaz, David Bowie, the Christians, and "an electric new age Small Faces/Kinks."

He's not pubk anymore. He still has a good voice, but i believe he is nothing without Foxtons killer bassline and Bucklers clear cut drum beat. REFORM THE JAM GOD DAMN

Lyrics remind me of when I was at that dangerous age. In my mid forties now, but can remember my twenties in corporate Chicago. Now I laugh at the young guys at work because they are the same as we were when we were younger. Circle of life.

Its such a groovy tune! He's awesome live but he's one of the few artists who sound live in recordings

This album isn't revolutionary, sounds like later David Bowie. And that is a fucking good thing!

Pfft, Black Eyed Peas sold out ages ago. They used to be good, now all they think about is computers and money. They'll fade away and none will give a fuck.

Weller is all about re-invention and never resting on his laurels, we have the jam and his early solo career, and i think it's admirable that he tries to give his fans something new rather than riding on the past, and thats why he has a loyal fanbase, because he keeps it new and fresh, this song is weller with mojo in full swing!
