I always suspected that Paul's solo tour was done as a wake up call to Gene, who was nearly non existent in KISS at the time. I think he was showing Gene, that he could be successful on his own and if you don't get more involved with the band I am leaving! Just my opinion.

Paul makes a mild mockery of Ace Frehley's 'New York Groove' by playing it so lame & pathetically. Then giving it all in his own 'Crazy Nights.' Immature & sad. Ace's song has so much more feel & originality (though not when performed by Paul) ... Crazy Nights is from the 1980's "Hair Band Recipe Book for Lame Assed Songwriting." Take another dump on your former bandmates, Paul. You would be nobody without Ace & Peter. AND YOU KNOW IT!!
