I'm a little behind the times here, but this IS Paul Revere & The Raiders - just not the one most are familiar with. This video features Mark & Paul (of course), Freddy Weller on guitar, Joe Correro, Jr. on drums and, as he often did, Keith Allison is filling in on bass. He would sometimes tour with them if they were "between new members," or someone was sick.

I spazzed when I found out that Mark had been living in Melcher's house for the summer before the Manson murders, and Melcher was the one Manson was after!While watching the Beach Boys TV movie, I had to make a mad lunge for the Nag Champa incense - I'd forgotten that one of them had a brush with Manson!

That is incredible. Manson could not get his own way, so instead of asking Terry how he may improve himself, so that he may become good enough, he behaved like a petulant child & went into destruction mode. Pathological & anti-social tendencies are not traits that are conducive to professionals like Terry Melcher or Mark Lindsay. Great song !
