This has always been a favorite. Opinions always vary on whose is the best. I've seen many comments that the Liverpool Fives's is the best. For me Paul Revere and the Raiders is best. I like the Monkee's and Liverpool Five's too. It may boil down to what you first heard and that's how you remember it.

Not just being partial to The Monkees but, Micky Dolenz vocal is far better and has more charisma. This version is more of a scream. Not that I don't like it...I am a Raiders fan too but The Monkees version with the ultimate pop voice of Dolenz can't be beat! IMO
