I lost my father to cancer Aug 29th 2011......it was so sudden .....diganosed and gone in 10 days....I am glad he didnt suffer long....I miss him so much as we were soooo close....talked t least once everyday, in the 4 months prior to his passing we spent at least 2 days aweek together..I didnt realize til I heard this song how much I see my father in me....even though I was his oldest daughter...we fished, hunted, did spoon collections together. I also play lottery like Dad...love you forever

My seven year old son lost his father in a fatal car accident last year...yesterday would have been his 40th birthday, we played golf and then a BBQ with family and wrote messages on 40 balloons and sent them up to daddy! This song is so appropriate for my son, who is identical in looks and personality...walks the way he walks, talks the way he talks...I am SO happy to have the reminder of a wonderful man, friend, co-parent of my ex-husband in our son!
