Should have been placed the official version of the "Press" album when first released....and not later as a bonus cut on the Collection Edition....that goes for "Once Upon A Long Ago"....two excellent songs!!! Both better than some of the songs first placed on the album....."Talk More Talk", for example. Paul has this sort of annoying habit of doing that!!!

Best song from press to play, along with good times coming, footprints and only love remains

This was the B-side to the single "Pretty Little Head." This and two other B-sides ("It's Not True" and "Tough on a Tightrope") were bonus tracks on the Press to Play CD, but not part of the official album lineup.Purely opinion, but McCartney's B-sides in the eighties and early nineties tended to be better than the tracks that made it onto the albums.

@airnsmke I see it this way,I see macca albums with 2 awesome songs and the rest are good or mediocre.I find george's stuff like more good songs and less mediocre songs but not many great songs. But macca is pretty fuckn stupid when it comes to making albums.the dumbass releases a bunch of non album awesome singles because he cant wait 3 months to put it on his next record. For example another day, mull of kintyre, goodnight tonight. He could have had much better albums even though they are great.

@airnsmke then u are just a hater so go suck a 2 dicks. U hear like 100 great macca songs and a couple mediocre and now u hate him? then u hear 5 good lennon/george songs out of 100 and now u prefer them. I respect that u prefer another beatle but ur reason seems illogical and fanboyish. Paul 4 life! Paul McCartney/Wings>Beatles>John lennon>George harrison>Ringo Starr.

@airnsmke Im sorry to tell u this but ur a dumbass. Ur listening to the worst macca album. and even this shit is way better than the best george and lennon songs. Wanna hear awesome macca songs that are even better than the beatles then go listen to band on the run, listen to what the man said, maybe im amazed, silly love songs, goodnight tonight, coming up,my love,no more lonely nights, pipes of peace, ebony & ivory, jet, uncle albert, another day,hi hi hi, ect. I can go on forever. John and george suck!

@OriahLivingston so you believe everything you here? who says success has anything to do with wealth. what i think is successful can be complete different then what you think is successful. and i've listened to most up until it became almost unbearable by the 90s . you gotta rephrase ur last sentance, and where have i been, idk watching youtube videos like you

@OriahLivingston all of its a point of view, you saying he is more diverse is a point of view. your understanding of what "successful" is , is a point of view. in fact everything you said was a point of view. thats all i was ever doing was saying my point of view. and THAT my friend, is my point of view

This tune should be among McCartney's most familiar songs. What a lovely upbeat gem we have here! Can't believe it was hidden as a bonus track on the Press To Play CD and not included on the vinyl album. But then, as always McCartney's throwaways are better than most songwriters' first-rate material.

Jonsmanov, sorry to totally disagree with you dude, but this is nothing but jazz. Funk has the heavy beat and bass, not piano!
