I would rather not hear that he wrote it for "Linda".  Linda always acted like it was no big deal to be married to him.  Fuck her.  She claimed that John Lennon was her favorite Beatle and Hendrix was her favorite guitar player, all the while, as she chased after Paul, and only got herself knocked up so he'd marry her.  And, oh, by the way, she didn't really want to marry Paul, as she had been married before.  Yeah, right  !!  This jew had McCartney conned more than Yoko had John Lennon.   Linda was full of shit, but at least Paul got her money in the end.
