The unofficial version of Mr H Atom is a lot better than this one.

McCartney II is by far his best solo work. It's the only solo stuff from him that comes close to The Beatles. Coming Up & Temporary Secretary are the best. I've never heard these two songs before, thanks for posting. The second song is really, really good. I wish Paul made more experimental/electronic music like this. it's exactly my type of music and is not what i expected from Paul!

Back to the Egg pisses on M II from a glossy mountain top. This is just Paul messing around with a 16 track.

he had quite a good start to 80´s - this album and then Tug of war, but after Pipes of peace, where he had a good collaboration with Michael Jackson, he started to fade and it lasted until Off the ground and Flaming pie, I think.

It seemed P. McCartney understood techno fun/synthpop in 1980.Paul McCartney - Mr H Atom / You Know I'll Get You Baby ("McCartney II" Bonus Track) [2011 Remaster]

@jakestardust2 i don't feel competent enough to tell mr mccarteny which of his albums is the best one. this one just got me by surprise with its daring and adventurous approach, for which he gets my big respect. and it's a joy to listen to.

@jakestardust2 That's all fine. It's others here that call it crap when Paul dares to make something experimental, adventurous, different. Personally I haven't heard this album until recently and I am quite stunned by it. I despite lots of 80ies popmusic but the genius of this is beyond it, incomparable. Just like the Beatles were beyond the Monkees.

@GoHoosGo1997 yeah i agree, the 80s were not the best for him, however i do like some post 80s stuff such as flaming pie, chaos and creation in the backyard, memory almost full etc
