I miss laying in the back of her dad's truck, on a pile of newspapers that needed to be delivered, and seeing shooting stars for the first time and holding her hand (not in a romantic way, in a super sweet innocent unbreakable friendship way) and then watching the sunrise and singing bad songs and laughing at nothing and looking at her, the smell of newpaper ink filling my nose (a smell I still love to this day), and saying, and knowing at the age of ten, "I'm gonna remember this for the rest of my life."And I did. And I will."May sweet memories of friends from the pastAlways come to you,When you look for them And your inspirationLong may it last,May it come to youTime and time again."

This song reminds me how old I am getting. Makes me think of all of the people I grew up with, many have past on. I can remember when the Beatles first hit the scene. Because I lived those early days. So true.

this song was about Him and George back in the 50's. Paul is indeed a legend a marble of music that will be infamous to the world. Long Live The Beatles.

This is pretty much the only link in in the chain that keeps the Beatles spirit alive in the 21st century. Paul is still here with us, doing what he does best.

Regarding the vocals. His voice is not a voice of a 25 year old man, but of a man of 71 years. The vocals are from Take 1. There was no attempt to improve the vocal on this track. Do you critics actually think he wasn't intentionally trying to capture the sound and feel of a weathered old voice in this song? Don't be naive. It's freaking Paul McCartney. There's not a sound on that song that he didn't purposely want there. The song is amazing.

"May sweet memories of friends from the past always come to you when you look for them. And your inspiration long may it last. May it come to you time and time again,"One of the most beautiful lyrics he's written just because of the emotion behind them when he sings them. You can tell he loves the legacy he and best friend created together...that he still to this day respects the influence they had on each other. It's a beautiful story of two boys who found themselves in each other, who made each other better than they could have been without the other.

I wish the artwork was something more natural like something that fit the songs more. More folky or something I don't imagine the lights with Paul

I love this song. You can really hear the wisdom in his voice, recounting his early days.
