This the original clip compiled by Jack Egan, that I overlayed with the 1991 Gavin Mackillop remix that appeared on the "Hidden Things" album of rarities.

This remix is basically the same as the original that appeared as the B-side to Leaps and Bounds in 1987, but with enhanced piano. This version being my favourite I thought I'd try and overlay it and I think it came out OK.

It had to be embarrassing at the time for the old school english to be schooled by a colonial but that was then this is now and despite how things may seem on the surface beneath the jibes and vitriol England and Australia are brothers who show their love for each other by challenging each other knowing a swift kick up the arse or a dig into the ribs will make us stronger than kisses and cold cups of tea.

you have NO IDEA how I wish my father was still with us to hear this. Bradman was my dad's hero and he would have loved it. Thank you for posting it.

Oh yes it continues. Bill Voce, an average of 27.8 and 2 ten wicket hauls in 27 matches. Sir George 'Gubby' Allan, 81 wickets in 25 matches and an average of 29. Bert Ironmonger, 74 wickets in 14 matches (including two ten wicket hauls) and an average of 18. Raymond Lindwall, 228 wickets with an average of 23. Keith Miller 170 wickets in 95 matches and an average of 23.so there are your great bowlers of Bradmans era and their stats.

"can you tell me some famous bowlers of that time and their record?" I certainly can!Mohammed Nissar, 25 wickets in just 11 innings and a bowling average of 28. Harold Larwood, 4 five wicket hauls in 36 inning and an average of 28.Clarence Grimmett, the first man to reach two hundred test wickets, and remains the fastest man to achieve it.He also only bowled one no-ball and zero wides in 67 innings.Bill O'Reilly, an average of 22.5 and 11 5 wicket hauls in only 48 innings.

I've been a cricketer for a while, and I'm proud to know that a man like Donald Bradman played for Australia. A class act and the greatest batsman, you can't get any better than him. What a great cricketer.
