But that's the problem with labels Rxicano, they don't work. Of course his playing on this album is "smooth jazz", cause it's "smooth". So were Stan Getz, Dexter Gordon, Stanley Turrentine, & even Miles & Trane, although they wouldn't be considered "Smooth Jazz" as defined today. Really, it sucks, because those of us who play smoothly, can't use that word anymore, becuase it sounds like the boring genre, if you know what I mean.... And yeah, this is "fusion" too, but not like RTF, etc....
