Well I wanted to say I love this song. What a great talent. It's too bad he didn't sing more on the Crowded House albums :( And that he didn't live a much longer, happier life. To the person saying this ISN'T the drummer from Crowded House....YES this very much was! He was just older than you probably remember. People do age you see. But he did not lose his talent at all. In fact, he got better with time. It's just awful that he didn't live longer and that he couldn't get the appropriate help he needed (I also suffer from clinical depression so I know how difficult it is, even WITH medication or therapy). I'm sad for him, his family, his friends and us fans. He was a wonderful man. It sucks too that the album won't be released, but Hessie's wishes need to be respected so if only certain tracks were OK'ed then we have to respect that.

What a ray of sunshine he was and so talented, I am just so sorry that he felt so unhappy with his lot. Paul you are missed not only by your family and friends but by many others that have had the luck to have crossed paths with you one way or another.

Uh, no ... LightTraveler knows exactly what he's talking about. PH was the drummer in Crowded House. He also happened to play a bit of guitar and wrote quite a few songs.

It might sound like a Crowded House song because, uh, this IS the drummer from Crowded House, Paul Hester, who committed suicide in 2005. They actually split up way before his passing, but it was this very event that caused them to reunite. Who would have thought that beneath all the humor was a person so tortured....

Who IS this guy? This sounds like an old Crowded House song. I used to love Crowded House but the drummer died and they split up. Shame. This guy is obviously a fan.

Geez. Honest to God, I'm sure this would fit quite nicely on Time On Earth (the new CH CD). Sure hope he's in that better place cuz he's still missed out here.
