I was 17 when my friend and I got this album on...audio tape!! lol! Such good memories when I hear these songs! Driving my yellow mini wth Patti up loud on the tape deck! I wonder too what happened and why she didnt become widely known and heard. Great stuff

You lucky, lucky thing! I discovered her when I found a the CD of Between the 1 & the 9 at a car-boot sale - were it not for that I would never have discovered this amazing album - not a dud on it! Then got her other albums too but they never quite got to me the same way. I find it bizarre that she's not more famous.

Between the 1 and the 9 is such a great album, shame it's so hard to get hold of. Really great song writing. I've been a fan for at least a decade but nobody has heard of her here in the UK
