We have a group of Musos and singers who entertain at Rest homes etc. One of our audience requested this song but we hadn't played this together and I promised we would next time.I got home grabbed a guitar and the words came back to me...just like that!! I guess I would not have heard this for at least 30 maybe 40 years. Have just listened to Patti Page and Yes! I had the tune and the words correct. Just fabulous! I will play to this same audience tomorrow and hopefully the lady will remember requesting it...I bet it will bring back loads of memories for us all. What a Beautiful Voice Patti Page has. :-)

I dedicate this to my Dad, who recently passed away. Patti Page was his favorite singer. He cried when his Mom passed away, and told me my Mom's British uncles had threatened to sodomize her in front of him if he refused to marry my Mom. He said Patti Page would never forgive him for lying about love, and for abusing my Mom, sister Connie, and I for the wealthy British uncles. I put my hands on his head, as he was on his knees at my feet, and told him God does not punish his contrite repentant children.

Aside from the original recording, Patti Page's version is the B E S T. Thank you for posting.
