PT has a smokin band now and put out a rockin CD in 2010 called Fidelis. Sandy Gennaro,the drummer on this tour,is back playing with PT.11 years ago

I`ve seen Travers a few times in the last decade & he shredded, he appeared normal & didn`t look like he was boozing so maybe he`s wiser or just decided to go sober ? As long as alcohol isn`t affecting your health & your not a "mean" drunk then have at it !11 years ago

I was at this concert back in 1981, one of my first Pat Travers shows. He played w/ Rainbow, It was great. Pat is one of the most accomplished guitarist & a man of many musical talents, and one of the most down earth people I have ever met... He's the best of the "Best" !!! He is on the list of greats, on a list made by anyone who knows anything...... Pat is one of the most smokin guitarists of all time.... just never achieved the commericial success..... this is probably a good thing for fans, cuz it kept him level headed..... he probably wishes he were a mega star, but it wouldve taken away from what makes him great... just my opinion....12 years ago

Why the hell is Pat not on the list with the greats? Sucks that he put off such a positive vibe and played his ass off gets lost amongst the crowd. Drugs are not an excuse to ignore a talent this great.. Ignorance cant prevail! Sobriety, is not an accomplishment. If the goal of humans is to be happy and being sober isnt happiness for everyone then many go to their grave sober and unhappy. Worse thing is the haters that cant party but want to. judging others. I saw PT on this tour at a Day On The Green in Oakland Ca. Heart,BOC,PT,Loverboy and Ozzy with Randy Rhodes were the bands that day. Not bad for $12.00.Related Videos
