This is a rare song. There are not many versions, of it.  Andy Irvine left a great legacy, for these type of songs.

In Hull in about 1969 a friend of mine said 'Come to the Seamans Mission. A guy called Andy Irvine and a piper called Liam O'flynn are playing'.... my lifes adventure in music changed direction at that point. So glad to have been there. Thanks to Liam, Andy, Donal, Christy and of course Paul Brady. And thanks Bilko for posting these gems !
