Today I had my first guitar lesson in 7 months, and what a lesson it was!! Fantastic new guitar teacher!! When it comes to any form of education, no matter what the subject, it comes down to the teacher. As a first lesson we worked over the well known jazz standard Blue Bossa, and he showed me the way into the unknown realms of tonality that I did not see or fully understand. I can safely say a lot was learnt from just 40 minuets!! Now for an evening of the modes of the Harmonic minor scales and all their madness.Enjoy this incredible recording of Blue Bossa, performed by Pat Martino.

Pat Martino is a man of the guitar. This is his great historical recording from the album, "Exit" recorded on February 10, 1978 with Gil Goldstein on piano, Richard Davis on bass, Jabali Billy Hart on drums. Thanks for uploading, BoomFunkyPanda. Sorry to say the photo used is the one from another guitar great, Mr. Wes Montogomery. ... just a photo though. :-D

If you look up Pat Martino in the dictionary, it says: The King of Jazz Guitarists
