On reflection, it never looks like it's at Woolloomooloo wharf, I guess because it's probably the most well known wharf, I thought of it first. There's tons of reasons why it mus be filmed between the Wharfs off Hickson Road at the Rocks, firstly the position of that massive apartment block at Milsons Point behind Luna Park from where they are standing.

I agree with that. On the first shot I thought it was the close to the street end on the West side of Woolloomooloo wharf but changed my mind after watching it through, there would have been more logistical problems there being that it was a main thoroughfare, not as much as now but still fairly busy.
