I'm not entirely sure but I think I can answer this. Mutiny and 3 other PWD songs were featured on a documentary by Australian Surf Group "The Bra Boys". The 4 songs were released on the soundtrack of the documentary. The quote from Mutiny comes from Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl. It stands to reason that The Bra Boys got the Rights for the PWD song, but not for the quote from POTC. So they had to edit that out for the song to be featured to avoid a lawsuit :)
