I'm start to hear metalcore 8 months and is a nice genre, i'm listen more heavy metal/death metal/power and melodic metal, but metalcore is start to like a lot.

ironic that they share a split album

No. Parkway defined themselves as a band purely by themselves. Sure Prom Queen did a split with them, but who were they in 2002?. Parkway built an empire through hard work, insane shows and music that was unparralelled at that time, even now. To say they only made it because of Prom Queen is completely idiotic.

Gary Moore=asleep, Parkway Drive=full of energy.

Prom Queen actually made Parkway Drive who they are, Parkway's existence can be thanked to Prom queen. If you like Parkway you should check out The Ghost Inside and August Burns Red :) (not promoting anything ;)

Parkway has some good guitar work. Gary Moore is an amazing guitarist but it's hard to compare the two. But I wouldn't call Gary Moore's guitar work very technical either, you can always listen to John Petrucci or Marco Sfogli for that.

Now, don't get me wrong. I have listened to Gary Moore, and i just find his music plain boring.
