I come from the other side of the globe: Belarus. I remember listening to this song as well as to the rest of the album days and nights, alone in my room. When I felt bad, Papa Roach was there with me.

By far the best song they ever made. I remember many dark and cold mornings in Alaska waiting for the school bus to arrive while listening to Thrown Away and Tightrope, over and over and over. I feel they both compliment each other so well that it's hard to listen to one without the other. Tightrope most definitely is my favorite song they've ever produced.

I agree with you, but everyone has their own feeling with songs. For example, you´re 16 years old and love the new Papa Roach because you´ve got a feeling with that, no problem. The power for them lies with that song apparantly... But not for you and me. I saw them a few years back on a festival, and they only played the new stuff, except ´last resort´ and ´between roach and insects´.. That´s it, I was quiete dissapointed. But a lot of people enjoyed it, They grew in an other generation.

Papa Roach did change and got a bit softer, but they're as good as they used to be, they still have that energy in their songs.

Well, actually I like this album and lovehatetragedy, but songs like Hollywood Whore (Metamorphosis, 2009) are good too. Their newest album The Connection contains good songs like Where Did The Angels Go too. And they probably are under pressure from records which want them to make mainstream albums. Jacoby stated in a interview the records maked a best of from Papa Roach while he did not want that, he want make a real album. Interview with FaceCulture.
