This song was supposedly recorded during the Cowboys From Hell sessions. Phil still was doing his Halford-style voice at the time. Guitars are heavy, as usual. See if you can spot the riff that was eventually used in "This Love."

Overall I think the song is pretty cool and on par with other heavy metal songs from the 80s. I think this song would have been a good track for Pantera's Power Metal album (pre-CFH).

What do you think?

Cant get over how talented phil was at falsetto vocals and singing in general. its ALMOST a shame that he shifted to screaming/growling

I still don't understand why Pantera wanted to bury the Power Metal album. It's not like Dimebag's phoning it in, the rhythm section is pretty tight, and Phil puts in some of his best singing on it and Cowboys. Except for PST88, the only cheesy thing was the album cover, but they could've redone that.

Damn, Phil's voice here is amazing. Such a shame he lost it.

This song still had the "Power Metal" sound of 1988.
