I'm 26 and even in my generation, I really appreciated this song because it reminds me of those rare moments that I spent with my father as a boy. His voice was spot on for this song because it added to the authenticity of the times it represented; lets be real here, did you think a gold miner would have a beautiful singing voice of a pro?
