This makes the evil in men seem infinite and never ending. I never heard anybody telling the truth as precise and to the point as this song does. The truth must be mentioned and heard to finally realize and learn from mistakes! This song must be heard!

Tool... Seriously??? Don't get me wrong, I fucking love tool, but they're not on the same level.

DT sure. Opeth... barely prog, much more metal. Cool band no doubt, but I don't even consider them a prog metal giant. Symphony X is very niche. They aren't even that progressive, it's more technical powermetal than prog by a mile. PoS are awesome, but insignificant. At-least they're proper prog.

just would like to follow: Beyond Twilight, DGM, Pyramaze, Andromeda, Circus Maximus, Epysode, Spastic Ink, Pagan's Mind, Voyager, Myrath, Treshold, Haken...

Wait, how are Opeth not original? Not only were they very original in sound, but half of the melodic and progressive death metal bands around today almost rip off their sound, so they're clearly one of the most influential acts around. Symphony X are the biggest prog/power metal band there is (and possibly ever will be), and are more consistent than DT, 'ryche and FW- but just haven't been around as long. Pain of Salvation are/were very original, but that doesn't make them "big."

True. While I generally don't pay huge attention to the lyrics, I can certainly appreciate a band that can write good ones. PoS/Daniel did get a bit preachy for Scarsick, though.

Lyrics of pain of salvation are awesome compared to the other bands. I think everything counts. All bands named here are not from this planet, they're awesome.
