I originally heard Pagoda's music by running into to some free tracks on my space a few years back. I was blown away. The band is no longer together. However, Michael Pitt as the front man, I learned was a actor. I like I said love independent movies and he has some great one's. Do some research if you wan't to see. The Drummer for Pagoda was Ryan Donowho who is also a very talented actor who has acted in some very profound independent movies from my perspective. One of which is one of my favorite all time movies: The Pacific and Eddie. He was in Cook County another very profound independent movie. He is also an accomplished drummer who later put together his own tracks. Again I think I was listening to them on myspace at the time and his music, vocally and otherwise was fucking sick (that's a good thing for those who don't understand that reference)

For the people wondering why others are referring to Kurt, being Kurt Cobain, it is because Michael Pitt stars in a movie called Last Days where he is an isolated singer being crushed by the pressures of fame and it ultimately ends in his death. It's a semi-biographal film based on Kurt Cobain.
