I just want to bring up some of the brilliance of both the song and the video.The song uses lyrics like, "I promise I won't spill the milk at dinner". It's referencing both 'crying over spilled milk', but also talking about how huge fights can be started by minuscule things, and that the children often feel at fault for the conflict.The video itself does an excellent job of showcasing how living in a broken home follows you into your adult life, and how we internalize it. The child version of P!nk represents her true feelings, but the adult knows how to put on a facade of indifference despite being very upset. In the end she doesn't really rectify those feels. Instead she turns her childhood into a happy illusion while remaining emotionally distant.I just identify with it so much, and judging by the comments, I think she hits the nail on the head.
