Piet Goddaer (aka Ozark Henry) nous a toujours habitués aux voyages les plus incongrus, les plus oniriques comme les plus enrichissants et enivrants. Dans son nouveau havre de paix, à Oostduinkerke, il a installé son studio et, quasiment seul, a réalisé son septième album intitulé Stay Gold.
Piet s'est enfermé chez lui. Pour écrire, composer, arranger et produire mais aussi jouer seul de tous les instruments. La seule à avoir perturbé cette volontaire solitude est l'actrice dorénavant chanteuse à plein-temps Amaryllis Uitterlinden, rencontrée il y a une dizaine d'années. La voix d'Amaryllis lui offre un superbe duo, « I'm Your Sacrifice », véritable tube en puissance.
Ce Stay Gold, c'est tout Ozark Henry: cette douceur au caractère fort, ces rythmes sophistiqués qui balisent nos vies et, enfin, cette voix immédiatement reconnaissable. Seul le silence... est d'or, disions-nous. Dorénavant l'or est Stay Gold d'Ozark Henry.
