Oxbow have a great gimmick, the frontman is also a wrestler! He performs wrestling moves on members of the audience whilst "singing". Maybe other bands could do same, you could have Swans with Ultimate Warrior on vocals?

Commented a few months ago on how I wasn't sure what to make of these guys. Love 'em now. Odd how that works. To me, Oxbow is what it sounds like to be WAY too drunk and spun on 3-4 different psychoactive chemicals at once.

I was there : I took a slap . Their music has something sexual, I really recommend people to see them on stage, because their songs are absolutely not the same on cd (they are tens time more powerful on stage). This is a true band .

I can't decide if this is really good, or really bad. I'll just leave it at oxbow is hella different. I didn't like Dillinger Escape Plan at first either, but hell, maybe they'll grow on me.

am i missing something ? i just listened to like 5 of their songs and im usually not negative and give everybody a chance but i cant for the life of me get into this at all . No disrespect . Different strokes for different folks . No pun intended on the different strokes thing ! Good luck to them tho , at least its original !
