Saying fuck the genre and anything is ignorant as fuck. This music has it's own genre and should be appreciated for that. For me genres are important, so i can compare a band to another band of the same or similar genre. It can't be too hard to figure out that this is some kind of technical death metal. Maybe it's even a sub genre of technical death metal, but that's already less important, cause you wouldn't hear a big difference. But for sure this doesn't sound like just Metal or Death Metal.

I am. There's such a flame war about what sub genre of a sub genre or a sub genre or a fusion genre this is. It's fucking gay.

Djent is too often used In a boring way by core bands. its much better in prog metal like it's origins in messhuggah or used in whatever the fuck you wanna call Vildjharta.

FUCKING AWESOME. In case anyone really cares, this is obviously technical deathcore. The "death" label goes to nearly anything with growl/scream vocals, the "core" label goes to anything with breakdowns or breakdown-style rhythmic progressions (with djent being a notable subgenre of core), and technical indicating that individual notes are occasionally presented in a melodic fashion (i.e. guitar solos). Genre isn't a bad thing unless it gets in the way of enjoying the music.
