I could relate to this song so much a few weeks ago. I thought I would never get over my ex who I swear was the love of my life. Pain. It demands to be felt. -The fault in our starsWhether relationship of 6 months or a marriage of 10 years, the depth of your pain is real. From personal and very recent experience, the greatest gift you can give yourself is to allow yourself to feel the pain. Don't try to "hurry up and be okay", or cover your feelings up. The more you compress your feelings, the worst it feels, and you'll just be bottling it up inside, until you're weak and give in to either calling him back, taking him back, etc. completely throwing away what you worked so hard for... Moving On, and valuing yourself.I know it sucks right now. And it is going to hurt knowing what you meant to that person all along. But you have to love yourself even more and give yourself credit for not continuing to be in that mess of a relationship. The reason you're hurting now, it's because you're taking that step forward, instead of taking the easy road and begging them back. Trust me on this, you will find yourself again. Take it slow, though. Don't rush into it. This is the greatest part about life, you get to learn from this, and start over. Wish you all broken hearts peace and comfort through out this isolating and devastating feeling. This too shall pass.
