Nice one! But, if I may say, and if you have the chance to talk with the girl (or if you are the girl, then) I would suggest to put your shoulders back, dont squeeze forward, so then you (or she) would be able to control her voice better. Actually, sometimes, chore (I dont know if its right, I mean the group of people singing) singers put their arms like in a meditation position, with their hands close to their chests.
