Lost my uncle to leukemia and two family friends to cancer. I miss them especially my uncle. He was the first person that played video games with me and introduced me to 80s & 90s music. I love this song!

Ah I miss the original Our Lady Peace, back when they had Mike Turner, an amazingly underrated guitarist that brought the albums to life with spacey creative guitar work. Ever since he left in my opinion every album fell short. Now that their original drummer has left, Our Lady Peace is basically done, future albums will be nothing more than a Raine solo record with the OLP name, unfortunate.

I lost a friend to lung cancer today. We were close friends for a brief period many years ago, but eventually lost touch only to speak from time to time. It's not that she is gone that I remember her. I remember her because she was full of life and died younger than any one should. She died at 25, the same age as me. When I heard the news, I was devastated. Though I've known her for a short time all those years ago, she was still a friend. I immediately thought of this song and have not stopped listening to it. I wasn't there for her like I could've been, but I will miss my memories of her. We all live long and fulfilling lives. Some of us are not graced with that opportunity and she will sadly be missed.

I think of this song and it brings me to tears immediately on the loss of my identical twin brother. Such a superb song on the loss from cancer and the experience as a bystander.

One of the best shows I went to was seeing OLP for 98 cents due to a scheduling screw up. It was a small venue, and I remember after they played the band came out and just hung out with the crowd. Not only do they make good music, but they are some of the nicest people.
