Chris Eacrett. ..was a very underrated, bass player. I love this album. His playing, was heavy, solid as a rock and smooth. I play drums and when I first heard Naveed...I wanted to play bass. I bought a bass and learned a bunch of tunes from Naveed, and it made me a better drummer.It's to bad we only get to hear Chris Eacrett,on one album...Chris....where are ya buddy?

Naveed is taken from the Persian name for the bearer of good news. Naveed was also Raine's best friend. Naveed was Iranian and one day he told Raine the background (of the name) was a person referred to as a bearer of good news. 'Naveed' talked about someone scared to die, but at the same time interested in it. Naveed unexpectedly died from a gunshot wound. Raine took the concept of Naveed & placed it in the dark optimism of music. Naveed traveled the distance between mysticism & bitter reality.

Chris Eacrett. Duncan was supposed to be the original bassist for OLP.. but decided to stay in school instead so Chris was with OLP for the Naveed era He quit and Duncan joined the group when they began recording Clumsy.
