There's a pub briefly shown called 'Prince of Ales'. Classic.Ukip wouldn't be averse to this video - they'd claim it's all part of the wider abandonment of the working/lower middle classes by the main parties for the last 20 years.9 years ago

litytlebritton 1 , of course, I would never have a go at staff membrs of ASDA TESCO etc, If they give you a job take the cash. Its the system thats biased against small independednt firms and is in favour of large multi nationsls. You do right not to shop there though !11 years ago

BOGOF is the biggest con out there!! Unfortunately, I have to work and Tesco gives me job stability, but I'm damned if they are getting my wages back in the weekly food shop!!11 years ago

It may be a 'peasants protest' but I think everywhere will be a Tesco Town with Factory Pharm (acutical) people if we don't do something about it. I can't do much but I don't shop in supermarkets ever. It's quite liberating and Im sure it saves you money. you arnt tempted by BOGOF offers you didnt want in the first place. But some of the poorest places are the best and some of the well off ones are soooo false. keep on levelling..11 years ago

Interestingly, the 12th Century market town of Chipping Sodbury is thriving while the new town of Yate which adjoins it, complete with large shopping mall and brand new Tesco Extra is dying fast. While there are just poundshops and empty units and pubs in Yate, Chipping Sodbury has a thriving farmer's market, cafe's and excellent small shops! The pubs are great too. I work for Tesco and shop in Sodbury, much more fun and better value. Even the trad' mop fair is still going. Long live Sodbury!!11 years ago

Was a bit taken aback seeing Billingham town centre and the playground I used to play on as a kid. Its definitely a forgotten town. Just nursing homes and closed shops.11 years ago
