Otis Rush is one of the chief architects of the "West Side" style of Chicago blues in the fifties and sixties and has been a hugely influential figure throughout his long career. For this first appearance at the Montreux Festival he is joined on stage by fellow blues stars Eric Clapton and Luther Allison for a truly special performance featuring many of his best known tracks.

Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 30 March 1945), is an English musician, singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once as a solo artist and separately as a member of the Yardbirds and Cream. Clapton has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time. Clapton ranked second in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and fourth in Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time". He was also named number five in Time magazine's list of "The 10 Best Electric Guitar Players" in 2009.

Wow ! Otis and Eric. I think Otis was one of the best. Guitarist and singers. Of the blues. He was playing that stuff in 58. lol. Unreal.

Well that was rather abrupt now wasn't it? I thought for sure those bass notes from the piano man were meant to say to Eric, Hey remember me, I want to lead for awhile also. But I was only half right, The piano player wanted his attention all right, but not so that he could play, but was telling him that it was time to go.
