Deep down in Alabama, we love the Big O! I couldn't find this classic anywhere here and thought I had to add it. This is one of the first singles from the great Otis Redding.

This is one of hottest track ever laid to wax!!!!! This is scaldin' hot. My Uncles used to talk about dancin' at juke joints and this was a killer track to them and now it is to me as well. Haven't heard this tune about 30 years. "I gotta make it baby!!!!" Worf

I first heard this song on American Dreams and I had to search for it.. I thought it was either Little Richard or Otis REdding

@andcarl85 yup, that's exactly what they did...also chopped off the original horn intro.

I hear two layers of sounds: The vocals and horns seems more distorted and has less treble then the bass and drums. And at 00:40-00:44 it seems like the two layers are out of sync, anyone else who hear the same thing? It almost seems like they have taken an old recording and replaced the bass and the drums with newer takes.

This is one of my favorites RnR songs!! But I'm not sure if it was the first single. According with Soulful Kinda Music, he recorded a similar song before called "Gamma Lama". I'll upload it in a few moments. Anyway, I prefer Otis and the Pinetoppers! :D
