This most definitely IS a cover of a Leonard Cohen song. Leonard's version is based on the song you mention. It shares many lyrics as well, but if you've ever listened to the original song you would NEVER make a connection. First of all, its entirely in French and the music/tempo is nothing like Leonard's version or this version. I would say Leonard's is an interpretation of the original and this is a cover of Leonard's song.

@waynecannington Why is everyone saying this? I've heard this song dozens of times and I promise you I wouldn't be able to sing one line from the French portion of the song. If they were recording a studio version I might say they could have tried the French bit, but seeing as how this is a pretty good live performance people should just take it for what it is.
