I've been singing / performing for 30 plus years & in my opinion, artistic license has never been honored in the way it has with this band in regards to this tune in particular. Absolutely phenomenal. The melodic chord changes capture the mood of the lyrics, the arrangement retains the Irish integrity with the instrumental jams, and the violins, flute & tin whistle are extraordinarily tailored. To completely restructure a traditional Irish tune such as this is both bold & risky, but to capitalize on that endeavor in leaps & bounds has to be a most gratifying achievement. To hear the conventional versions of this tune & then take in this incredible creation (by a Serbian band, no less) is beyond description & scope.
