Filtering != Not listening to things you don't believe in Filtering == Listening to things that either a,) Agree or Support your beliefs or, b.) Challenge your beliefs intelligently. It also includes NOT listening to things that either a.) Destroy or Detriment your values or ideas, or b.) Is just vulgar music.

Actually it's more important not to filter anything, to experience different things and look at other points of view objectively, even those that make you feel uncomfortable. Especially those that make you feel uncomfortable. Otherwise how do you know whether you're firm in your own beliefs or simply ignorant to any others?

I have never seen a mainstream christian or in otherwords hip pop christian song. Anyway this is another great song by another great christian band.

Here is what I think of music and religion. Embrace them as you will and if you like the sound of a band then listen to them. If you don't agree with what they sing about, then don't. Noone said you had to agree with everything they say, but don't bash others who might believe in such things.if there is a Christian that listens to this kinda music and can feel empowered from it seeing as it has a holy message, then let them praise it. You don't have to agree with the lyrics to enjoy the music.

I bet when impending doom sees all this crap under their music they wonder if anyone likes it or just likes to rip on God and Jesus, sad but probably true

@Ryan Hall You'll take mainstream douches over brain washed Christians anyday? what's wrong with a little cleanliness? Lol some people could use a washing haha! I mean honestly brain washed? as opposed to filthy brains? Lol I'm not trying to change your mind but This band is putting in as much effort as any other band out there if not more b/c they actually love EVERYONE who comes out to any of their shows, even if they're booing them they spread hope. but if you're that proud of your brain dirt

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools
