Hi; i have several of their albums and have lost one. there is a song on there i'd like to have again and i thought you might tell me the name of the song and what album it was on. all i can remember of it is the line......goodbye bowl weevil, i know you got my ........and the birds done got my corn" The chorus may have been..."'pans of biscuits, bowls of gravy; pans of biscuits we shall have". Anyone know this? thank you!

I had Ron Thomason as my home room teacher in high school, in Ohio. Back then the Fire Squad was a sideline for him.

My three kids came from Childrens Home Society in Minnesota so I think this is wonderful.

So cool. It means alot to my siblings and I as our grandpa was on one of those orphan trains long ago, from New York to Minnesota where someone "took him in."

My friends and I had the privilege of seeing the Dry Branch Fire Squad at Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC, in 2003. They were the best act at the bluegrass festival. We went to every show that they performed. Every show was different. At one on the hillside, a black snake crawled through the crowd, and Ron Thomason broke into a song about snakes. What a great group!!
