Orgy - Blue Monday (New Order cover) and Lyrics video free download

Orgy was formed in 1996 by vocalist Jay Gordon and guitarist Ryan Shuck. The name referred to a "collage", or orgy of different styles in their music.[citation needed]

Bassist Paige Haley, guitarist Amir Derakh, and former Electric Love Hogs drummer Bobby Hewitt soon completed the lineup. All were veterans of the late '80s/early '90s Los Angeles "hair metal" club scene.[citation needed] Derakh had previously gained some fame in the 80s metal band Rough Cutt, and Hewitt was a former member of Electric Love Hogs. Gordon and Derakh were also experienced producers, having produced Coal Chamber's self-titled CD.

Within six months Jonathan Davis, who performed with Shuck in Sexart, signed Orgy to Korn's label Elementree Records.
