Sorry mate. I don't want Sabbath to be around forever. After the first 6 lps the quality rocketed downwards like a menhir in vaseline. And they started letting, Bill, sing. Just drum you mental fucker. And your quote 'as good as any'. It sounds like you've given up already. 'Orchid' and 'Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats', kick arse, and leave me grinning, even more than 'St.Vitus' did. Love x.

honestly, as much as we want them to be, Black Sabbath won't be around forever and someone has to carry on that legacy. Orchid is as good as any

Listen, the torch has to be passed, and someone has to run with it. There are very few active bands with old as fuck members who actually still sound good. That's very rare, and in my opinion... Black Sabbath is not one of those bands. Their time came and passed, let's just move on and relish their old sacred albums while still respecting bands like Orchid, who have the balls to do their own thing with the sound. I mean, it's not like they're a cover band. Now THAT would suck!

They do have a similar sound but In my opinion they are different enough to be not judged as a rip off, who cares anyway, these guys are fucking awesome and deserve way more credit than they get
