This song was my absolute favorite as a child in Ghana too. We had the record plate and it played nonstop. Nobody could compete with my 3-yr old dancing self when this song was on. Wow!

The song is about life, enemy and false friends. It says they will harm you in many ways (pick your wife, kill your children) and say it is life/ destiny (well, there's a trick, since "life", "destiny" and "world" are the same word in Fon and it is "Gbè".). The title means litteraly "it is not destiny's will" The song says everyone should be cautious and flee from those kind of people. Because only bad people turn your life into something bad. Hope it helps! A fan from Benin.

Heard this song at the worldwide festival in 2010 in Sète, France in a beautiful amphitheatre. This was the last song and it started raining and everyone was going wild. Probably my best music experience ever! Going to see them again on Saturday in Vence.
