http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0035157/ - Singing is Lynn Bari. I wonder just how Ray Eberle felt that this actress came in and ripped his song off for the movie!

It is kind  of interesting, when i can listen to this sort of music, i can relax and think!, My difficult paper work just seems to flow, And I sort of lose track of the time. I am really surprised, To see,Just how much i can accomplish.

WHO is that girl that flashes her ring to Cesar Romero (piano player)? She is gorgeous! She resembles Shirley Temple, but it is not her.

Lynn Bari defines the word, sexy. I'm sure today's females could take a lesson from her on how to be classy and sexy at the same time. She was talented, too.

@Grauman I can not believe what you have told me. I agree that its a fact but it seems like a fairly idiotic move on Miller's part. Unless some kind of love triangle was going on or something, I do not think that Miller would have ever had a valid reason to fire Ray Eberle. Besides Tex Beneke, he was the Leading Man in the GMO and in my mind could never be replaced. Thank you.

Still was recorded by Ray with the Glenn Miller band. We associate the song with his voice with the Miller band not hers... She came in and did a job, but I was ONLY WONDERING if there might have been an ill feeling in Ray's part over it.

To Gregory May: Lynn Bari didn't rip this or "At Last" from Ray Eberle. She came in and did the job she was assigned to, as a 20th Century-Fox contact player of long and esteemed standing. And, I might add, she did it beautifully.

Ooh I loved this film so romantic , I wanted to be Ann Rutherford and always had same hairstyles & did date trumpeter but he didn't look like George Montgomery(a bit like Robert Mitchum though)I just lived for Hollywood movies & am so grateful that at the age of 83 I can still see scenes from them

The pretty girl who is dancing with a man while she winks at and flirts with Ceasar Romero (the pianist) is Claire James. More info about her can be found at google images or at imdb..
